The training is designed for frontline staff who are interested in pursuing leadership roles. The Pathways Leadership Academy is a foundational program in which participants begin to understand the intricacies of vocational rehabilitation leadership, providing the training needed to excel in vocational rehabilitation. Pathways supports VR’s goal of developing an available talent pool within the agency, promoting a learning culture, and developing a network of future leaders.
This program is designed to be completed in eight sessions. Participants complete activities to extend their learning, and will complete a portfolio, an organized collection of documents designed to demonstrate participant knowledge and understanding of leadership practices. Participants have a final project presentation.
Participants who successfully complete the program requirements gain a certification in Pathways Leadership from UA CURRENTS.
Faculty includes nationally recognized VR leaders and professionals who serve in executive and management capacity in vocational rehabilitation agencies.
Date: Every 3rd Monday of each month.
Cost: The cost is $1,800 per person
CRC Credit: 4 hours per session (general).
Format: Virtual sessions are held on Zoom.
